Watch my latest FREE webinar where I cover 7 Essential Tips for Generating and Retaining More Business Using LinkedIn? You can leave your feedback at my Marketing Mentor Facebook Page
My dear friend Andy Wibbels has done it again! When most of my colleagues have been enjoying an easy time of it over the summer, he’s been in the blogging greenhouse nurturing some new programmes.
I won’t cover them all in this post as there are too many hot productions coming out of the Easy Bake Web Logs factory at the moment. I just want to start with the programme I know a lot of people have been waiting for.
Andy launches his Business Basics Blog course on the 1 September at 7.30pm ET. It runs for 3 weeks and covers the basics of what is blogging and how to determine the right approach for your blog dependent on your objectives. The programme costs a mere US$77 and you can register for it here.
For those of you in Europe, the time probably won’t work well for you but Andy has promised to join me for an expert call on Building your Brand with a Blog in the next few weeks. More of that in a future post.

Over the last 4 months or so I’ve been reading about blogs. Until this year I’d never even heard of them and talking to many friends and business associates they look at me with glazed expressions when I even mention the word blog!
Are we living in the dark ages here in Europe? Is it only the tech savvy who have blogs? Or perhaps students without the pressures of busy family and corporate lives?!
Supposedly blogs are becoming more common in the corporate world. Sun Microsystems Jonathan Schwartz [Sun's chief operating officer] has his own personal blog. But I wonder how many of the much publicised corporate blogs from CEO’s are written by their internal communications teams or updated by their PA’s?!
I thought it was about time to start to get on to ‘blog wagon’ and see how easy it really is to blog. So I contacted my friend Kirsten Dixson at Brandego. Kirsten the most technologically able person I know who can help you translate all the science into a simple step by step approach for those of us a bit more technologially challenged. She’s also very patient and will put up with the most simplistic of questions!
So here’s the result! With Kirsten on the line from the US and using my low cost phone service I’ve set sail and joined the blogging revolution!
I am really looking forward to writing my thoughts for the day – maybe that’s too ambitious and it should be ‘thoughts for the week’!
And my objective while on this journey? It’s to help visionary leaders increase their impact in the world – building their reputation, commerical success and hopefully they also have fun while doing so!
P.S. There will be no corporate communications team or personal assistant writing this blog. You’ll just get ‘expresso shots’ of Krishna!
