PERSONAL REFLECTIONS – LET’S NOT TALK
Why is it we don’t talk to each other let alone collaborate?
This week I accessed a new book created by some professional services experts. The content was good if a little disjointed.
The problem for me was that they all seemed to be building their individual and personal brands.
Now it seems to me that if they came together in a more coherent way and collaborated, accessing their distinctive talents and strengths, then they would have a much stronger proposition for their clients and would really be able to access more market share in a very crowded, competitive and challenging market.
If only they would talk to each other and create a vision of what it would be like to win together rather than competing against each other.
I know the times that I have made the most headway in my business has been through joint ventures and collaboration.
Who could you collaborate with who has similar expertise to you and wants to reach the same target market and how could you build a stronger brand together than operating from a position of defending your territory?
FEATURE ARTICLE – ATTRACT YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS WITH EBOOKS AND SPECIAL REPORTS
In today’s information age we as consumers want an immediate response to the questions we have.
That’s the power of the internet.
No longer do we have to head off to the local library – much of our research to assist us in our purchasing decisions can be made in the comfort of our own home with the assistance of the search engines.
Amazon.com has created a strong brand providing access to books from around the world, but sometimes we don’t have the time to wait up to 14 days to arrive. That’s where the power of ebooks and special reports are invaluable.
Here are four key reasons for why you need to invest in creating your own ebook or special report and make it available from your web site:
1. BUILD YOUR LIST OF POTENTIAL LEADS AND CLIENTS
Providing an ebook or special report of between 5-20 pages for your clients and potential clients to download as a lead generator means that they get instant access to your expertise. This enables you to build your list of potential clients that over time may be interested in investing in your programmes, products or solutions.

Create a more detailed and expansive ebook and an accompanying workbook and audio programme and you can start to sell your new information product accessing additional revenue streams in your business – and those orders can come in from right across the globe. Yes you can have a business that sells while you are sleeping.
4. DIFFERENTIATE YOURSELF FROM YOUR COMPETION
As there are still many professional services firms who don’t make available special reports or ebooks from their web site you will immediately stand out from the crowd and build your brand.
