Developing and growing your business takes among other things vision, passion, resilience and support.
In todays competitive world it is also critical to build our brand and market your business on-line.
Increasingly as you will have read about here at “Biz Growth News”, consumers, clients and business partners are turning to the Internet to research about products and services before they make a purchasing decision.
Potential candidates for roles in your company will also be looking at your profile on-line.
So even if you do not intend to offer products or services on-line for purchase, it is critical that people can find you on-line and you build a compelling corporate, employer and personal brand on-line.
But where do you turn to if you are looking for support with expressing your brand and growing your business on the Internet?
Well one organisation I have enjoyed being a member of and have received great guidance from through their events and news letters in my journey to building my on-line strategy is the Irish Internet Association (IIA).
So I am delighted to hopefully return my thanks to the IIA as I have been nominated by friends and colleagues as a potential board member.
You can read about why I am pleased to be nominated and my relevant experience here.
The IIA is overseen by a Board of Directors of 12 individuals from the industry. There are currently three IIA Board positions to be filled for the board term.
The deadline for voting is the 20th of August 2007 at 17:00 and you may select up to three candidates to go forward for the 2007/08 Board. Note: You may only vote if you are the named voting person of an IIA member company.

I got to you via The Magical List of Outstanding Women Bloggers.
I was on the management committee of the South African Internet Service Provider Association. A bit more specific than your Irish Internet Association is which nurtures, taking this off their site, all business conducted via the internet, not just the service providers. I was the only woman!
Hope you get voted on, it seems it’s something you are really passionate about.

Photo sharing services should make it easy to upload and share your pictures with friends and family, or post them on the Internet for everyone to enjoy. The best online photo albums offer editing tools, lots of storage space, password protected access, the ability to buy and sell prints, photo gifts and other conveniences.
Below are the criteria TopTenREVIEWS used to evaluate photo sharing services.
•Feature Set – The top–notch websites offer numerous practical features that help upload, post, share and print photographs, network with other photographers and browse photo galleries by keyword or date.
•Ease of Use of the Service – Like other Internet–based services, online photo albums should be user–friendly. Anyone should feel comfortable using the service and the tools it provides regardless of their knowledge of computers and the web.
•Help/Support – First–class photo sharing websites provide adequate help and support in the form of tutorials and FAQs, and offer a number of ways, like email, web forms and a phone number, to contact customer service.
