If you enjoyed PodCamp Ireland, here’s another unconference that is taking place soon in Ireland - BarCamp Cork II.
The first ever BarCamp in Ireland took place in Cork in 2006 since then the tech community have facilitated a number of BarCamps across Ireland.
As with all BarCamps it’s free to attend but you need to register online. It’s good to see that they are using a website and not a wiki for those of us who are not comfortable writing HTML, and you can subscribe by email for updates if you don’t know how to figure out RSS.
BarCamp II Cork is taking place at the Webworks building on Eglinton Street in Cork with the first session kicking off at 10am on the 1 November 2008.
You can register your interest in the topics you would like to see covered – at the moment there is no listing of who is speaking and as it’s an unconference that might not happen until the day itself. You’ll find a great group of people at Barcamp Cork especially if you are interested in technology platforms.
Certainly an event not to be missed if you want to connect with technology entrepreneurs in Ireland.
