This summer certainly seems to be the time when the leadership and personal development gurus are heading for Ireland, with Jack Canfield appearing in Dublin this week and I now find that Deepak Chopra will be in Dublin between the 7 July and the 12 July 2008 at an event hosted by Seminars.ie.
At the time of writing, no details are available of the exact curriculum for the event with Deepak Chopra entitled ‘The Seduction of Spirit’ so I recommend that you bookmark the Seminars.ie website or subscribe to their newsletter if you are interested in attending.
You can however find details of ‘The Seduction of Spirit’ event on Deepak Chopra’s website and it’s priced at US$2775 to attend for the full week of meditation.
You can read a press release for the event here.
Deepak Chopra, M.D. Chairman and co-Founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Carlsbad, California is considered to be one of the world’s leaders in the field of mind body medicine.
What I can tell you is that Deepak Chopra is someone who truly does want to engage with his audience and followers as he is using social media to connect directly to them.
You will find Deepak Chopra very active on the social network, Seesmic, where he poses questions and thoughts on video and where we can all post a rely with our responses and thoughts to him. He truly is engaging with his audience.
As an example watch here for Deepak’s thoughts on the goal of life – to survive or to play? If you have thoughts on his commentary, you can register for a free account with Seesmic, plug in your webcam and mic and send Deepak your thoughts. You will also find Deepak on Facebook.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention that Deepak Chopra’s blog site was developed by non other than Sabrina Dent, a fellow blogger here in Ireland who spoke on the recent panel at CreativeCamp that I hosted about women in technology and who also designed the really cool site for Twitterfone.
