Following the successful Organise Activate Influence conference facilitated by the European Commission Representation and the European Parliament Office in Ireland, (access archived video footage of the event here), I was delighted to see that they are continuing to enable engagement through a new programme called EUIreland.tv.

The programme launches on 13 November 2008 at 8pm Ireland time with a conversation with Commissioner Margot Wallström, the European Commission Vice President who will be interviewed by Ursula Halligan on;

• The future direction of the European Union
• The Lisbon Treaty and what it means for Ireland
• and difficulties of communicating Europe.
