It’s the last hour or so of the year. My youngest has just come to say goodnight and she was a bit taken aback when I said:

That’s the last kiss you’ll be getting from me this year.

Of course then I explained that tomorrow is a New Year.

My grandfather always used to love to tease us saying that tomorrow (1 January) we would see a man walking down the street with as many noses as there are days of the year. My sister and I used to try to work that one out. I’ll probably try it with my girls tomorrow.

So I thought I’d conclude this last blog post of the year with a New Year Greeting from my home to your home. I hope this makes you smile.
