Parenting your children to support their career success is an area that I recently had the opportunity to discuss with Dearbhla Kelly.
You can watch an interview I did with Dearbhla here where she shares practical tips relevant to any parent – even if your child has not reached their teenage years.
Or if you prefer you can listen to the audio recording in MP3 format of the interview here or right click to download it to your computer.
You might remember that I have been offered 10 free tickets to an event that Dearbhla and Horizon speakers are hosting on the 3 June 2009 in Dublin. If you would like to attend as my guest you can find the details here.

This is one of the positive outcomes of the economic climate – more and more people will be doing what they are really passionate about because it’s the people that are passionate about what they do that will secure the fewer jobs available.
They will be the candidates that stand out head and shoulders above the crowd.
It’s great to see this approach to career management being shown to parents, it’s an exciting time to see many many positive changes.
Thanks for doing the interview both of you
