YouTube is increasingly being used as an online entertainment medium.

In fact more hours are being spent by consumers online at YouTube than ever before and it’s becoming a real competitor with traditional TV. 

I had not realised how it is permeating Irish households until my nanny yesterday told me that her daughter watches YouTube to catch up on past episodes of TV shows. These are shows that can not be accessed in Ireland as they are from her home country - the Phillipines.

Yesterday YouTube came into it’s own as a research tool in our home when helping my 6 year old daughter prepare for her school concert. Her homework was to practice the songs her and her classmates will be singing for a competition they are entering. Continue reading

Over the last week you haven’t seen so many blog postings from me. 

We are in Spain on vacation and on arrival found our phone line was down - so of course no Internet connection. 

This in fact was a blessing as it meant that we could really enjoy time with the family - in a few years time I know my daughters won’t be quite so excited about Christmas as they are aged 6 and 5 years!

But I assure I’ll be back posting and hope that the posts I make in January will support your business growth in 2007.

As the year comes to a close and I am watching the sun setting over the ocean I just wanted to say thank you to all of the readers of Biz Growth News and members of our Biz Growth Live community.

As a small business there are not so many opportunities for Christmas get togethers and dressing up.
